This 1986 Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive is a made-in-Japan black label example of the classic guitar overdrive pedal. Its asymmetrical clipping circuit provides smooth, responsive drive, with Level, Tone, and Drive controls for shaping rhythm crunch, lead tones, or pushing an amplifier into overdrive.
