The Gibson Les Paul Standard Raw Power from the early 2000s is a rare, limited-run version of the classic Les Paul Standard that was produced around 2000–2002 with occasional later examples noted around 2005. It’s distinguished primarily by its natural/satin finish and a more minimalist aesthetic that lets the wood grain show through, aligning with the “raw” theme of the series.
Like a traditional Les Paul Standard, it features a set mahogany neck with a carved maple top, rosewood fretboard, and a 24.75″ scale, preserving the iconic Les Paul feel and sustain.
Overall the Raw Power variant is sought after for its stripped-back aesthetic, quality USA construction, and classic Les Paul tone — making it a unique piece for players and collectors alike
