The Guild X-170 Manhattan was Guild's elegant thinline jazz archtop, produced from 1988 through 2002. With its 16-5/8" wide, 2-1/2" deep laminated maple body, it offers the warmth and resonance of a traditional jazz box while being more comfortable and feedback-resistant than full-depth archtops. Blonde examples from the Westerly, Rhode Island factory are particularly sought after for their rarity and craftsmanship.
