When it comes to the topic of quintessential shredders, Yngwie Malmsteen is at the top of the list. And his custom-spec'd Fender Stratocaster has been his weapon of choice for the totality of his decades-long career. The Yngwie Malmsteen Strat was tailor-made for virtuosic fretboard gymnastics, boasting a comfortably contoured alder body, a relaxed Modern "C"-shaped neck, and a lightning-fast scalloped fingerboard. A set of Seymour Duncan YJM Fury noiseless Strat pickups discharge scorching-hot lead tones with maximum articulation. You also get a sustain-enhancing brass nut, vintage-style "F"-stamped tuning machines, and a 6-saddle American Vintage synchronized tremolo. Players searching for the ultimate conduit for their rapid-fire neoclassical excursions will find the Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster the consummate shred machine.
